Select members of Raising Cain are also highly trained classical musicians. They double as the Adagio Strings, playing classical instruments for wedding ceremonies. By hiring Raising Cain and Adagio Strings, you save a bundle, as we’re your “one-stop shop” for music, serving your entire wedding day. Adagio Strings are one of the most unique and successful wedding ceremony string groups in Colorado, available as a trio, duo or solo.
As you shop for a reception band, and a string ensemble for your ceremony, add up the total for hiring both entities separately. We'll bet you Raising Cain's all-inclusive price for both will save you significant amounts of money. No other band in the state doubles on classical strings. And you have the comfort of knowing you're getting proven, bona-fide professionals in each style of music.

When you hire Raising Cain you also have the option of “The Adagio Strings II,” a traditional string quartet. This ensemble has the more traditional configuration of two violins, cello and viola. Our member who plays violin leads such a group, outside Raising Cain. You are welcome to use this option. However, since most of the members of that ensemble would be traveling to your wedding to play the ceremony portion only, the deep discount package does not extend to this group, as it does when you use the other option (violin, classical guitar and piano) that exists within the Raising Cain players. The traditional string quartet option is priced at the same regular rate it charges to travel and play ceremonies only.
